First Semester Reflection
This class has taught me a lot this year, and got me to express my creativity and manifest it into abstract art. I felt that my concepts were creative and compelling. I tried not to let my art look too boring. I made sure all my work was turned in punctually. I used the proper predecided formats and made sure the resolutions on my projects were high. Overall I tried to make my projects the highest quality I could.
I tried to solve problems in different types of ways that I wouldn't usually try. I tried to creatively solve issues that I had on projects in order to further my knowledge on features of photoshop. When I see another student's work, I tell them my honest opinion and try to help them find different ways to solve an issue or a different idea for how to conceptualize their vision. I am usually optimistic and confident about my artwork. I often write down ideas for a project before I begin. I'll list possible concepts in the Notes app on my phone. I can then weed out the lesser ideas and pick which one I think will portray the assignment the most effectively.
I am usually on time to class. Sometimes I get caught up and make it here a few seconds after the bell, but I am usually punctual. I usually put my headphones in and work hard, but sometimes I take breaks and talk to people at my pod. I work independently, and don't need help from anybody except Thee Mr. Klein himself. I have completed every project required, so I'd say I use class time effectively.
Throughout this semester, I have learned various things that help me tremendously. I learned that using the pen tool is more accurate, and looks better than using quick select. I've improved on changing colors of objects and distorting objects. My confidence has stayed the same, but I have realized that creating art is fun. I've never been an artist, but this class makes me appreciate art more, and feel like I'm not too bad at creating it.
I don't plan to do much of anything different in this class second semester. The way I've worked hasn't done me wrong yet, and if it ain't broke, don't fix it. An a Idea for a project would be putting something inside a light bulb. You could put fish swimming, a seed growing, or all sorts of things inside the bulb.
