First Semester Reflection
This class has taught me a lot this year, and got me to express my creativity and manifest it into abstract art. I felt that my concepts were creative and compelling. I tried not to let my art look too boring. I made sure all my work was turned in punctually. I used the proper predecided formats and made sure the resolutions on my projects were high. Overall I tried to make my projects the highest quality I could. I tried to solve problems in different types of ways that I wouldn't usually try. I tried to creatively solve issues that I had on projects in order to further my knowledge on features of photoshop. When I see another student's work, I tell them my honest opinion and try to help them find different ways to solve an issue or a different idea for how to conceptualize their vision. Letter to the Past
Dear past self To be successful in a digital art class, you must think outside the box to create solutions to problems that might seem perplexing. Most problems can be resolved with some creativity and photoshop skill. The more you play around in photoshop, the more experienced and skilled you will become. There's a big learning curve when it comes to photoshop, and the ability to implement design aspects that you picture in your head will present itself through continuous practice. When you have become adroit, you will be able to create work like this. This project applies positive and negative space to create an image. Even though there is no color, you can discern the different objects and animals in this image because of the contrast of black and white.
